Danielle Conner began her career as a professional dancer, graduating with a BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During her dance career, touring nationally and internationally with various production companies, she developed chronic bursitis and tendonitis in both of her shoulders.

Danielle went through physical therapy to correct the issues with her shoulders. During her sessions, she noticed that some of the exercises were Pilates based exercises and decided to continue with Pilates after her physical therapy sessions were finished. Through Pilates she was able to rehabilitate her shoulders, gaining strength, stability, and control of the condition. Realizing the benefits Pilates has on the body, mind, and spirit she decided to become certified in Pilates so she could help others.

Danielle is a Faculty Member for Balanced Body for the MOTR (More Than a Roller,) a BASI and PMA certified instructor, a Body Balanced Trainer and Z-Health Trainer that holds a certificate in FAMI- Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Danielle continues her training of neural plasticity through Z Health. She has completed the R-Phase, I-Phase, S-Phase, T-Phase and 9S:Structure and will begin her Master training program in 2018. The incorporation of neural plasticity into her work has given her the ability to relieve chronic pain in just one session.

Since becoming certified in Pilates, Danielle has had the privilege of working as the resident instructor for Cirque du Soleil at the shows Mystere, LOVE, and “O” in Las Vegas, and Wintuk, OVO, Zarkana, and Totem in New York City. She also trained the Las Vegas cast of the Broadway show “The Producers.”

Her work experience includes a wide range of populations from gymnasts and dancers to the elderly with such conditions as arthritis/osteoarthritis, osteoporosis/ osteopina, joint replacement surgeries, scoliosis, MS, fibromyalgia, disc issues, sports injuries, pre and post natal, among others.

Danielle has been published for her work in the July/August 2011 issue of IDEA Fitness Journal, and the July/August 2011 and the March/April 2012 issues of Pilates Style Magazine. Her studio is also the recipient of the Best Pilates Studio 2014, awarded by the Watchung Business Recognition Association.  If you have any questions or would like to schedule a session please contact us.
